Hjem is the debut EP by the Durham-based composer John Paul Hardy. "The pieces evoke the spectacular Norwegian landscape, a vista that had a profound effect upon me. The EP's title - Hjem (home) - is one of a number of words that are common to both Norwegian and the Geordie dialect, highlighting the deep connection between the two regions. For me, Norway felt like a spiritual home".
